SPORTS FACILITY
Students today need time to hone themselves and build their strengths apart from their academic commitments. It is advantageous to participate in the sports activity since academic competition is fierce and it might be challenging for each student to achieve academic excellence. Sports facilities are therefore required at colleges. Sports activities foster character development, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities in the students as well as groups. The college has the grounds for few outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, throw ball, kho kho, kabaddi etc. We also have the facilities for indoor games like badminton court, table tennis, chess, carrom etc in our campus.
Role of Sports in the Student Development:
It has been demonstrated that exercise not only improves health and fitness but also IQ. The brain receives more oxygen, which increases the strength of the intellect.
Students can socialise outside of the classroom with the aid of sports teams and group exercise activities. The sports events bring together the students from different classes, backgrounds, and educational levels.
College campus sports facilities will enable the college to hold a variety of activities. Interclass Sports Competitions which includes indoor and outdoor games are organised at college.
A student who participates in the interclass sports competitions develops several qualities, including collaboration, leadership, and confidence. In addition to these traits, the student succeeds in cultivating the capacity for critical thinking.
Students become more bonded with one another, staff members, a school, and the community via sharing experiences, difficulties, and accomplishments through sports and leisure. Encouragement of involvement in healthy activities can help at-risk teenagers change their priorities from antisocial conduct to constructive endeavours.
