SANCTIONED INTAKE CAPACITY

100 Seats for First Year B. Pharmacy 

10 % of total sanctioned intake for Direct Second Year B. Pharmacy

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

A) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR FIRST YEAR B. PHARMACY:

• 80% admissions out of sanctioned intake (100) at B. Pharm are done on the basis of MH-CET score through Centralized Admission Procedure Maharashtra State CET Cell, Mumbai.
• Candidates declared eligible by competent authority shall apply for Centralized admission Process conducted, Maharashtra through its official website.
• Admission to B.Pharm is done on the basis of MHT-CET merit.
• The centralized admissions are done by the State CET Cell, Mumbai on its website www.mahacet.org.
• 20% admissions are done by the Management at the Institute level on the basis of MH-CET and H.S.C. results.

Further if the seats remain vacant then the seat is filled on the basis of Inter-Se-Merit of the applicants.

B) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR DIRECT SECOND YEAR B. PHARMACY.:
Admissions are done through Centralized Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of D.Pharm score. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai having website mahacet.org. If seats remain vacant after Centralized Admission Procedure, admissions are done at the Institute level.

C) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR FIRST YEAR M. PHARMACY:

Admissions are done through Centralized Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of valid GPAT Score and B.Pharm result. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai having website mahacet.org. If seats remain vacant after Centralized Admission Procedure, admissions are done at the Institute level.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A) First Year Bachelor of Pharmacy:

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually;

(iii) Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non-zero score in the MH-CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

(2) All India Candidature Candidates:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) The candidate should obtain non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the
candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in
MHT-CET and should obtain non zero score in
MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority;

(iii) Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate
obtaining non zero positive score in National Eligibility
cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who
obtained non zero score in MHT-CET.

(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National Candidature Candidates:

(i) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination conducted by the respective
State or Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2  examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:
Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school  systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course;

(ii) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME (TFWS)

• TFWS scheme is applicable for all technical institutions 
• Maximum 5% seats of sanctioned intake shall be available
• These seats shall be supernumerary in nature
• Fee waiver is limited to tuition fee as approved by FRA
• All other fees except tuition fees shall be paid by candidate
• Candidates admitted under this scheme are not allowed to change Institute at any stage under any circumstances
• TFWS applicable for minority institutes also
• TFWS scheme is not available for Direct Second Year B.Pharm and M.Pharm admission

ELIGIBILITY FOR TFWS

• Maharashtra State candidate
• Parent’s annual income less than Rs. 8 Lakh from all sources
• Candidate must submit Income certificate issued by the concerned Authority

B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission- for Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates:-

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) The candidate should have passed in D. Pharm. course from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council
of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948);

(iii) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
