B) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR DIRECT SECOND YEAR B. PHARMACY.:
Admissions are done through Centralized Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of D.Pharm score. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai having website mahacet.org. If seats remain vacant after Centralized Admission Procedure, admissions are done at the Institute level.

A) First Year Bachelor of Pharmacy:
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually;
(iii) Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non-zero score in the MH-CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
(2) All India Candidature Candidates:
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) The candidate should obtain non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the
candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in
MHT-CET and should obtain non zero score in
MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority;
(iii) Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate
obtaining non zero positive score in National Eligibility
cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who
obtained non zero score in MHT-CET.
(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National Candidature Candidates:
(i) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination conducted by the respective
State or Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:
Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course;
(ii) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission- for Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates:-
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) The candidate should have passed in D. Pharm. course from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council
of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948);
(iii) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
